Linh Tran, D.O., M.S., joins Cook Children’s Epilepsy Program
Cook Children's Jane and John Justin Neurosciences Center continues to grow our team in an effort to provide the highest quality care to children in our region. In August 2021, Dr. Linh Tran joins Neurology as an epileptologist in our Comprehensive Epilepsy Program. Dr. Tran is a native of Fort Worth and completed her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at University of North Texas Health Science Center. She got her first exposure to Cook Children's and neurology through her third year medical student rotations and found an early love for pediatric neurology as a result. She always planned to return to Cook Children's once she finished residency training. Dr. Tran completed both her pediatric neurology residency and clinical neurophysiology fellowship training at Duke University. Her primary practice will be at Cook Children's main campus in Fort Worth, though she also plans to see patients at Cook Children's Pediatric Specialties locations across Texas. Dr. Tran's clinical interests include the management of drug resistant epilepsy, status epilepticus and neonatal onset seizures.

Great outcomes begin with great input. Having a medical system where every department, doctor, and care team member works together means that your child can have quick access to testing, diagnosis and treatment, and that means better outcomes now and in the future.
