Neurosciences team shines at American Academy for Cerebral Palsy Annual Meeting
Clinicians and researchers from Cook Children’s Neurosciences team recently gathered with peers from all over the world in Las Vegas, Nevada, for the American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM) 76th Annual Meeting. It was the first in-person event in three years, and Cook Children’s was there in full force.
Christos Papadelis, Ph.D., Director of Neurosciences Research at Cook Children’s, was elected as chair of the AACPDM research committee. The committee promotes the quality and quantity of research in cerebral palsy and developmental disabilities. It focuses also on activities that enhance research interest and education, including developing and sustaining research collaborations among members of the academy.
AACPDM invited Cook Children’s researchers to speak about the results of our translational research and the implementation of evidence-based practices that work to improve outcomes for children with cerebral palsy and complex movement disorders.
