Lennox Gastaut syndrome (LGS) is a devastating epileptic encephalopathy of childhood. It presents with frequent seizures of multiple types (tonic, atonic, tonic-clonic, absence, myoclonic), cognitive delays and generalized slow spike wave on EEG studies.
