Brittney Rhem, M.D., joins Cook Children's Neuromuscular Program
Cook Children's Jane and John Justin Neurosciences Center continues to grow our faculty in an effort to provide the highest quality care to children in our region. Brittney Rhem, M.D., will join the Neurology team as a specialist in our Neuromuscular program starting in July 2022. Dr. Rhem is a native of Michigan and completed her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Dr. Rhem completed her pediatric neurology residency and neuromuscular fellowship training at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Her primary practice will be at the Cook Children's main campus in Fort Worth, though she also plans to see patients at some of our locations outside the metroplex including Waco. Dr. Rhem's clinical interests include the management of spinal muscular atrophy, muscular dystrophies and myasthenia gravis along with performing electromyogram and nerve conduction studies. Outside of medicine, Dr. Rhem spends most of her free time entertaining her very energetic 3-year-old daughter, Olivia, and enjoying her husband Geoffrey's excellent cooking.
